Autism Eligibility Team Leader Training

The Missouri State Plan for Special Education specifies that multidisciplinary teams that convene to make eligibility determinations for special education services in the category of autism, have at least one person on the team with special expertise in autism.  The state plan does not define this role. Project ACCESS has stepped in to develop individuals in districts with this expertise.  

Currently this training is available for your district or by request through a Regional Professional Development Center and is offered in person.  During the fall of 2025, Project ACCESS will unveil our first asynchronous online version of this training.  If you would like to be notified when this training will become available, please contact our office at projectaccess@missouristat.edu and we will add your name to our list.
