State Licensed Specialists
There are three types of in-district or contracted service providers who are commonly engaged in support of students with autism as well as other students. These include Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). Project ACCESS is working to build a directory of such professionals who are independent contractors or who can time-share with their employers or clients, and who have expertise and availability to assist local school districts as independent consultants.
Currently we have created maps organized by Regional Professional Development Center Regions of all licensed providers based on data from the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance. The maps will indicate their location, but not necessarily their availability. If your district finds itself in need of these services on a contract basis, you can reach out to Project ACCESS and we will try to facilitate a connection with a licensed provider that is close by.
These three sub-pages have maps embedded or linked:
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Occupational Therapists (OTs)
- Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
This list is an opt-in list of practitioners who elected to list themselves on our map. Providers on this list have indicated that they could potentially serve a district in need.
