Project ACCESS offers training, resources, and support services to school district personnel who serve students with autism and related developmental disabilities.
Project ACCESS designs and presents free and low cost autism-specific professional
development to pre-K to grade 12 educators at locations throughout Missouri. When
possible, we also offer scholarships to our trainings and those provided by third
parties.
Project ACCESS offers fact sheets, an online community of practice, information on
evidence-based practices and a blog/social media and other tools useful to educators
who have students who are on the autism spectrum or who have a related disability.
Project ACCESS provides consulting services through a cadre of trained consultants
and through onsite autism coaches. We can also connect you to third party private
practice service providers.
Project ACCESS is a collaboration between the Missouri Department of Education and
Missouri State University charged with providing training and support to educators
who teach students with ASD.
