Scripting: Creating Social Scripts That Work

Description

Scripting is a low-cost, multi-age intervention that has been proven effective for preschool aged children to age 22.   It requires very limited prerequisite skills and therefore should be a commonly considered intervention in your classroom. 

 

Learning Objectives

•Participants will identify goals that may be appropriately addressed with scripting.

•Participants will identify the necessary steps to implement scripting with fidelity.

•Participants will practice writing a script for an identified student on their caseload for immediate use in the classroom.
